Testing Pressure Resistance of Standup Pouch in Pasteurization State

Dec 05,2023 | Views: 109
The most rigorous method to check the leakage problem of standup pouch is to conduct a pasteurization test at 100°C for 20 to 30 minutes. This test method is more severe than the usual pasteurization temperature, which is only 85°C to 95°C. To perform this test, fill the bag with liquid and put it into a small pasteurizer. If there is a problem with the welded part of the edge or nozzle, the liquid will leak from there.

Testing in the pasteurized state ensures that the stand spout bag has perfect external force resistance and non-external force performance under 100-degree boiling water. It is important to note that this test method is only applicable to food stand up pouch.
